Vacaville City Coach Transit Route Proposal
We have a NEW page with information about the new Vacaville City Coach Transit service in Leisure Town. On the new page you will find an article explaining the new plan and a map of the existing and new routes. The Vacaville City Council recently approved the new route and schedule, and it will go into effect January 1, 2015.
At a Special Board Meeting on September 2nd, Michael Shucart was appointed to fill the vacancy on the Leisure Town Board of Directors. Mike is a valuable asset to the Board, and is filling the office of Treasurer. Please give him some time to familiarize himself with the workings of Leisure Town.
Ballots for the fall election were mailed on October 18th to those homeowners in Leisure Town eligible to vote. Please be sure to vote and return your ballot to the LTHA office no later than 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18. Included on the ballot are the filling of open positions on the Leisure Town Board and the Garden Homes 1 and 2 Advisory Boards, whether or not a management company should be contracted to manage the business of LTHA, and the annual IRS resolution.
Projects completed during the summer are the drainage repairs for craft buildings A and B, replacement of the rose garden walls and drip system, sprinkler replacement, meter and shut-off valve installation at lawn bowling, painting of craft buildings A and B, and replacement or repair of bad concrete around Town Center where needed. We also signed a one-year cart path landscape maintenance agreement for the first time.
The Management Study Task Force meeting minutes, recommendation, HOA interviews, and cost analysis docs are all now displayed on the Management Study Task Force page and are available for viewing in a binder in the office. Look for information and updates on this page as the process moves forward.
The new Town Hall access procedure is in place and working well. If you want an access card, you will need to go to the office, fill out a form, and pay your $10 deposit. There will be a handout with the key card and signage at the card reader at Town Hall
