Garden Homes Advisory Board Election

The recently amended and restated bylaws require the Association to hold elections for the Garden Homes Advisory Boards.  The Board is currently inactive, but we are hoping to revive the Advisory Board and bring in fresh perspective, ideas, and support to the Leisure Town Board of Directors. 

Garden Homes is a special area of the community as it represents the establishment of what this community was started from.   Garden Home Advisory Boards assist with input and planning for painting, maintenance, landscaping, and finances.  The Garden Homes Advisory Boards will hold an Annual Meeting each year and include elections to support the five seats required by the governing documents.   

There are 5 seats for Garden Homes 1 and 5 seats for Garden Homes 2.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much time is involved?

Each Advisory Board determines their own schedule and agenda based on the needs of their respective neighborhoods. It is not necessary to hold a monthly Advisory Board meeting, therefore, you can be flexible with your schedules.

2. Does the Advisory Board need to attend the LTHA Board of Directors meetings?

You are not required to attend the monthly LTHA Board Meetings. You may send in any reports you may have to the management who will present on your behalf. It would be advised to attend in person should you have an important issue to present.

3. How long is the term?

Two candidates with the most votes will serve a two year term with the remaining three candidates serving one year.
